ルイ14世の命により、負傷廃兵の収容施設として1671年から建設が始まりました。建物が早々に完成すると、王はさらに教会を建てさせたので、工事期間は合わせて30年です。現在、教会、博物館、1830年にセント･ヘレナ島から遺体を戻されたナポレオンの墓を見学できます。

A very charming hotel near the Seine. The staff was very friendly.
We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful time being at the hotel.It is, in fact,our favorite Paris hotel,having first visited in 1991. Everyone, especially Remy, was extremely helpful.Although it was small, we loved our room and hope we can return soon.We have just strongly recommended the hotel to friends who will be traveling to Paris.
