1775年、フランスとアメリカの間に友情が生まれました。アメリカ合衆国との友好関係を示す最初の証として選ばれたのが、ジャコブ通りです。
1950～1960年、ルレ・ホテル・ヴュー・パリに滞在していたアメリカの詩人達が、≪Beat Genaration≫というムーヴメントを起こしました。その発起人の中には、W.
Burroughs, Allen Ginsbergh, Gregory Corso, B.Gysin, Orlowsky, Jack Kérouac…といった詩人達が名を連ねています。
?家、芸術家、音楽家、普通の旅行者など、日本人やその他ヨーロッパ圏の人々と同じぐらい多くのアメリカ人たちが、その当時のインスピレーションや、あたたかなもてなしを求めて訪れています。

A very charming hotel near the Seine. The staff was very friendly.
We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful time being at the hotel.It is, in fact,our favorite Paris hotel,having first visited in 1991. Everyone, especially Remy, was extremely helpful.Although it was small, we loved our room and hope we can return soon.We have just strongly recommended the hotel to friends who will be traveling to Paris.
